The architectural plan for Helsinki Garden has proceeded from the basis of project operations and location. The plan is to assure the Garden project respects its environment in all aspects, both appearance and operations wide.
Cultural buildings
Garden Helsinki will form part of a continuum of cultural structures catering to the public that includes the Olympic Stadium, the National Opera, Finlandia Hall, Musiikkitalo concert hall, Kiasma art museum and the future Central Library.
Arena
The Garden event arena will situate almost entirely underground. This will enable erecting lighter structures that compliment the scale of the surroundings above ground. All the nearby public buildings are valued representatives of their own era. This applies to the Garden as well. High-quality architecture envisaging values of the surrounding nature.
